We’re Jill & Tristen, longtime makers who believe sewing should be fun, approachable, and most importantly - make you happy. Over the years, we’ve made just about everything we could dream up: quilts, bags, totes, gifts, and plenty of projects that started with “I bet we could make that!”
After years of creating together, we decided it was time to turn that love of making into Bright & Happy - a place where we could design our own sewing patterns and share the joy of creating with other makers.
Our patterns are designed to be fun, colorful, easy to follow, and full of possibilities. We love projects that let you play with fabric, make something uniquely yours, and actually enjoy the process along the way.
Because we think sewing should be exactly what our name says:
